Chapter eleven focuses on the diversity of today’s audiences and how public relations professionals have to adapt to that. There are many different age groups and with the constantly changing technology, different age groups prefer to be presented with ideas using various media outlets. Through technology and research, finding out the best way to reach each age group and ethnicity can be accomplished. Nowadays there are new groups emerging such as gays, religious groups and then the most diverse and largest group international audiences. This is a challenge for pr professionals to learn how to target these different groups, but now becoming a huge part of their job description!
